About Impressions Health and Support
Impression Health and Support is a specialist brain injury/neurological rehabilitation service designed to support individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injuries (TBI) or other forms of acquired brain injuries (ABI) including learning disabilities. Our experienced and dedicated interdisciplinary team consists of specialist nurses, neuro rehab consultants, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, , Physiotherapists, & Rehabilitation Assistants.
We provide both rehabilitation and condition management to support clients with a range of complex neurological conditions and brain injuries. The team are dedicated to supporting individuals and their families during their rehabilitation to regain as much function as possible, improve their quality of life, and assist them in reintegrating into their communities.
Brain injuries don’t just affect the individual; they impact entire families. Our specialist services provide essential support to families and caregivers, helping them manage the challenges of caring for someone with a brain injury and ensuring they are equipped to provide ongoing support in the community and at home.
One of the critical aspects of rehabilitation and recovery is an individual’s ability to return to their community and resume their daily life. We help individuals achieve the highest level of independence possible, which is crucial for their mental and emotional well-being.
Our Team
Impression Health and Support has its own dedicated team of professionals, and all our services are professionally led. We believe that the management and leadership of staff teams are pivotal to maintaining quality and safety when supporting people. All our services are nurse led providing specialist support which can be tailored to the unique needs of patients and their families.
This diverse range of qualifications enables us to offer truly holistic support, reducing unnecessary readmissions to hospital. We are consistent and committed as an organisation, and do not rely on agency staff. Our clinicians, experts in their individual fields, including Psychology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech and Language Therapy, will be provided as required. The local G.P. is also supported by our Medical Consultant. Psychiatry will continue to be provided by the NHS Community Learning Disability Team.
