Environment
Bankfield Apartments Care Centre (B.A.C.C.) is not just a care home with nursing; it’s a haven where we provide support using recognised methods and evidence-based practices, including Positive Behavioural Support, Active Support and Trauma-informed care. Our service stands out from traditional settings, offering more than just an en-suite bedroom. Here, individuals benefit from their own apartment with a dedicated staff team, accessing communal areas by choice and not necessity.
We believe in the core principles of Choice, Independence, Dignity, and Respect. Our environment is meticulously designed to uphold these principles, and bespoke changes can be made to apartments to improve accessibility on an individual basis.
Admission Process
All referrals to B.A.C.C. are received via Liverpool Social Services. Most individuals are likely to be living out of borough, often in long-stay hospital placements. The Registered Manager arranges to meet with everyone to assess their suitability for admission to the service. This includes gaining permission to gather information from the person, their family, and the people who currently work with them.
Once admission has been agreed, a transition date is set and worked towards. During this “transition” period, our staff teams work alongside the individual to ensure that they are ready to make their move and that their stay with us successful.
Moving On
Our dedicated admission and discharge planner makes sure that individual goals are met and that moving on to permanent accommodation happens on time. Individuals may decide to take their staff teams with them, facilitated via our Domiciliary Care Agency, ensuring continuity of care and support.
Services Offered
Hydrotherapy
We have onsite fully accessible hydrotherapy pool in both our Liverpool and Chester service. Hydrotherapy the use of water for therapeutic purposes including pain relief, rehabilitation and relaxation. Hydrotherapy is used as an adjunct to land based therapy for all patients during thwir rehabilitation.
Specialist Rehabilitation and Therapy Programmes
We offer bespoke rehabilitation and therapy programmes for individuals suffering from neurological injuries, ensuring their holistic recovery and well-being.
Long-Term Specialist Nursing Beds
Our long-term specialist nursing beds cater to individuals with complex needs, allowing them to receive meticulous care and support closer to home.
Domiciliary Care Agency
The Domiciliary Care Agency of Impression group works to make sure there is a seamless return home and provides continual assistance and care.
