About Derby House
Derby House stands as a beacon of excellence in neurological rehabilitation, offering a conducive environment to facilitate the diverse needs of individuals with neurological conditions. The facility is segmented into four wings, each housing eight en-suite bedrooms and communal spaces. Every wing offers specialised services to ensure the utmost care standards.
The central areas of Derby House are equipped with a Hydrotherapy service, a Physiotherapy gym, and Occupational Therapy areas, including a kitchen, allowing us to offer a comprehensive range of services and therapies.
Impression Health and Support’s Role
Impression Health and Support, with a collective experience of more than 50 years in neurological care and support, in its commitment to making Derby House excel in neurological rehabilitation. Our Domiciliary Care Agency also functions to support a full pathway back home, providing continuity of care and support for every individual.

Specialisms and Services
Specialised Nursing Care
We offer specialised nursing care for individuals with long-term neurological conditions, including Persistent Disorders of consciousness, Acquired or Traumatic Head/Brain Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, and Motor Neurone Disease.
Complex Tracheostomy and Ventilation Support
One wing is exclusively dedicated to supporting individuals with complex tracheostomy and those requiring invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
Bespoke Rehabilitation Packages
Services are available for individuals requiring bespoke packages of rehabilitation. Our multi-disciplinary team collaborates closely with you, measuring your progress and setting your goals, ensuring access to some of the best therapists in the Northwest.
On-Site Consultant Clinics
There is no need for travel to an NHS hospital to meet with your Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, as they deliver a clinic on-site each month, overseeing your rehabilitation and providing support to your G.P as required.
Transitional Support
One of the four apartments on-site offers an opportunity to trial any longer-term support package before returning home. You may even decide to take your staff team with you, ensuring continuity of care and familiarity with your needs. This is made possible via our Domiciliary Care Agency, allowing continuity of care and therapy even when you return home. Vocational support, including work-based assessments, is also provided.
